Today, let’s meet Stephanie Palazzo!
Stephanie works with our Scheduling and Social Media teams and has been with Paragon for two years.
Q&A with Stephanie:
Tell us a little bit about you!
“I live in Spring, Texas with my husband and our two sons. We also have two dogs – they’re both females so I’m not outnumbered.”
What does Paragon mean to you?
“Family. Not just that Paragon treats employees like family, but they’ve given me the opportunity to be more present for my own family. “
What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
““There’s peace in the resolve.” Not sure if that’s advice, but it was told to me during a time when I was struggling with a career decision. I made the decision to leave teaching and felt a weight lift off me as soon as I made it official.”
Who inspires you?
“My husband inspires me. He had a rough go as a young adult and could have let his situation derail his plans for life. He pulled himself out and worked hard to become a success story.”
What’s your favorite movie?
“Steel Magnolias. I love movies that revolve around friends that become family and the cast is just wonderful. Beaches is another favorite.”
Do you have a favorite book?
“A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers. It’s an amazing story of overcoming obstacles when faced with tragedies. “
What are your hobbies outside of work?
“Does chauffeuring children to activities count? In my free time I catch up on tv shows and play games on my phone.”
Desktop Details
I’ve been working in my new office for about 2 months now. When my husband got a 100% remote job in early Summer, we made the decision to close the dining room into an office for me. It wasn’t feasible for us to share a work space full time anymore. I love how it turned out!
I love The Muppets. I have my Swedish Chef playset (purchased as an adult!) and talking Kermit the Frog on display. I have other Muppets plush stored away.
My two favorite television shows are Friends and The Golden Girls. I can’t not stop and watch if I find either one while scrolling channels.
I am the popcorn “kernel” for our Cub Scout Pack. August through October you will find my office full of popcorn inventory waiting to be sold.
