Q&A with Terri:

What does Paragon mean to you?
“Paragon Planners happened for me at a time in my life when it was quite the life saver, in many ways, and will always mean the world to me for that and many other reasons. There are no words that adequately describe what my Paragon Family means to me.”

What skill do you think everyone should learn?
“Self-deprecation. Learn to laugh at yourself and remember perfection doesn’t exist; admirable as a goal but unattainable.”

What is your favorite part of the job?
“People. I may not open up personally very much, but you’d never know it to hear me talk to people on the phone. I think those that know me well will attest to it. I enjoy when I call and the voice on the other end remembers me from our previous conversations without need to introduce myself.”

What is your favorite song and why?
“Vivo Per Lei – Andrea Bocelli because no matter my mood that one hits my heart.”

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
“Sewing, crocheting, knitting, painting, sketching.”

What do you like to read?
“Anything by Erma Bombeck or Lewis Grizzard because they make me laugh out loud.”

What is the best advice you’ve been given?
“1. Be kind.
  2. Thoughts become things so make them the good ones.
  3. Learn to see and identify things within your actual control, everything else is a waste of time and energy and will not produce results.”

“The pictures are of my family.  My father, who we have lost, holding my daughter Katie as a baby.  It is also Katie in the rocking chair.  My two sons, John and David, are in the other picture, the picture says SO much about their personalities…LOL.”

“The angel was sent to me from Paragon Planners on one of my anniversaries with the company and the Helping Hand award was presented by Householder Group at a yearly meeting held in Arizona that year.  I was a Practice Manager for a Financial Advisor at that time.”

“The other is the view if I spin my office chair around and Gabe is in it arriving for work that day, periodically he is my co-worker.”
